Refund and Returns

Under EU consumer law you have a 14-day statutory withdrawal period from the day you receive your order. Within that window you may cancel the contract without giving a reason. Below you'll find the full conditions, a step-by-step return process, refund timelines and the legal exceptions.

Statutory withdrawal period (14 days)

You have the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. The period starts the day after you — or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you — physically receive the product. For orders containing multiple items delivered separately, the period starts when you receive the last item.

How to start a return

1. Within 14 days of receipt, email info@huistechnica.com with your order number, the product, and (optionally) the reason for return. You may also use our model withdrawal form — request it at info@huistechnica.com. 2. We send you a return confirmation and a prepaid PostNL return label within 1 business day. 3. Pack the product carefully in its original box and attach the label to the outside. 4. Drop the parcel at a PostNL point or schedule a pickup within 14 days of your withdrawal notice.

Condition of the product on return

You may unpack and inspect the product to the same extent you would in a physical store. Use beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product may cause a loss in value, which we may deduct from your refund. Please return the product as complete as possible: with all accessories, documentation, warranty cards and in the original packaging.

Return shipping costs

Returns from the Netherlands and Belgium are free of charge using the PostNL label we provide. For returns from other EU countries you bear the direct cost of sending the goods back, unless agreed in writing beforehand. For large or heavy items (over 23 kg or longer than 100 cm) we arrange collection by our logistics partner; the actual cost is deducted from the refund.

Refund and timing

Once we have received and inspected your return, we refund the full purchase price including the original standard shipping cost within 14 days. In practice the amount is back on your account within 5 business days of receipt. We use the same payment method as the original transaction (iDEAL, credit card, Bancontact, Klarna or bank transfer) unless you expressly agree otherwise. There are no costs to you for the refund.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to: • Made-to-order or clearly personalised products (engravings, custom configurations). • Sealed products which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery (e.g. shaver heads, in-ear tips, mouthpieces). • Audio/video recordings and computer software whose seal has been broken after delivery. • Products which are, by their nature, inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.

Damaged, faulty or wrong item

Please inspect your order on arrival. Report visible transport damage or a wrong item within 48 hours to info@huistechnica.com with photos of the product and packaging. For factory defects within the legal warranty period we arrange free repair, replacement or refund. We cover all shipping costs for both the return and the replacement.

Legal warranty

All products are covered by the statutory legal warranty: a product must conform to what you may reasonably expect from it. On top of the legal warranty an additional manufacturer's warranty may apply — the duration is listed on the product page. The legal warranty does not affect your rights as a consumer.

Out-of-court dispute resolution

If we cannot resolve a complaint together, you can submit it to the European ODR platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr or to Stichting WebwinkelKeur. You may also bring the dispute before the competent Dutch court.
