Huistechnica (Uniserv B.V.) values your privacy and processes personal data carefully, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This policy explains what data we collect, why we need it, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

What personal data we process
Data you provide yourself: • Name and salutation • Billing and shipping address • Email address and phone number • Order, payment and invoicing data • Communication with our customer service • Content of contact forms and reviews Data collected automatically: • IP address and approximate location • Browser and device information (type, OS, language) • Pages visited and click behaviour • Cookies and similar technologies (after consent, see Cookies section)
Purposes and legal bases
We process your data for: • Performance of the sales contract — processing orders, delivery, invoicing and returns (contract performance). • Customer service — answering questions and complaints (contract / legitimate interest). • Legal obligations — tax administration, warranty, product safety (legal obligation). • Security and fraud prevention — protecting our shop and customers (legitimate interest). • Service improvement — analysing usage via anonymised or aggregated data (legitimate interest / consent). • Marketing — newsletters and personalised ads (consent, withdrawable at any time).
Payments
Payments are processed by external Payment Service Providers (Mollie, Klarna). We only receive the payment status and a transaction reference. Full credit card or bank details are never stored by us. The PSP's own privacy policy applies to their processing.
Cookies and tracking
Our shop uses cookies and similar techniques. We distinguish: • Functional cookies — required for the cart, login and language preference. No consent needed. • Analytical cookies — such as Google Analytics 4, to measure anonymised usage and improve the site. • Marketing cookies — for conversion tracking, remarketing and ad optimisation (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok). Analytical and marketing cookies are placed only after you give consent via the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your preferences at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
Recipients and transfers
We share personal data only with parties that are necessary for us: • Logistics partners (PostNL, DPD, Brenger) — for delivery • Payment Service Providers (Mollie, Klarna) — for payments • IT and hosting providers, email providers — to operate the shop • Customer service tools and review platforms — for support and reviews • Analytics and advertising partners (Google, Meta) — only after consent We have data processing agreements in place with all processors. We never sell your data. Transfers outside the EEA only take place with appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses).
Retention periods
We do not keep personal data longer than necessary: • Order and invoice data: 7 years (tax retention obligation) • Customer account: as long as your account is active, then 1 year inactive • Customer service communication: 2 years • Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe • Cookies: as indicated in the cookie banner per cookie
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: TLS encryption, access management, two-factor authentication for staff, regular backups and periodic security audits.
Your rights under the GDPR

Minors
Our shop is not aimed at persons under 16. We do not knowingly process data of minors without consent from a parent or guardian.

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy. The most recent version is always available on this page. We will inform you of material changes by email or a notice on the website.
